Background
Dr Alfonso Frontera was born in Rome, Italy. His father was a GP and he comes from a family with a long tradition in the medicine.
He followed a strong family path joining the Faculty of Dental Surgery at “ la Sapienza” University in Rome, to become a Dental Surgeon, and he was granted his Degree with distinction in 1992 “cum laude”. He then started to work as a general dentist in Rome while continuing his training.
Approach
Alfonso prefers a conservative approach to dentistry focusing on the preservation of the dental tissue.
Experience and Expertise
In 2002, attracted by the international environment and multicultural lifestyle, Alfonso moved to London, where he worked in several prestigious private dental practices. This allowed him to establish a network of professional connections with some of the best specialists in the capital.
Alfonso is interested in cosmetic, orthodontic and endodontic treatments. He also acquired a wealth of knowledge at one of the leading Invisalign practices in the UK, where he worked for five years.
Alfonso joined CAP City Dental in 2017 where he is practicing general dentistry and has a special interest in root canal treatments.
Area of special focus
Over the years, Dr Frontera developed a special interest in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He attended regular courses as a visiting student the prestigious Columbia University in New York and continuously developing his knowledge in this field.
