Gaps between teeth
Natural spaces or missing teeth caused by extractions are seen as ‘black holes’. If the gaps are large, they need to be filled.
The teeth may be naturally spaced too small for the size of the jaw. The darkness inside the mouth emphasizes these gaps when speaking, smiling or laughing.
Our cosmetic dental practice in London City EC4 is skilled in creating a harmonious smile with no gaps. Natural teeth can be ‘widened’ by adding composite material to both sides – or by using a porcelain veneer. Missing teeth are replaced with a bridge or, more commonly, with an implant-supported crown.
