Ways to register

With Cap City Dental, we keep it simple for patients looking to register.

The process is short and straightforward. You can answer a few phone questions over the phone by calling 020 7621 0600, emailing your name and telephone number to, or filling out a form online here.

How long will my first dental appointment last?

Your first appointment will typically last an hour as it’s a comprehensive assessment of your oral health, bite, and teeth condition.

It’s possible but not guaranteed to offer treatments the same day as your check-up, such as fillings or a hygiene clean.

How much will it cost as a new patient?

New patient check-ups are £155, which does not cover the cost of any recommended X-rays. The check-up cost includes a full comprehensive check of your teeth, gums and bite. Once you are a registered patient, regular check-ups are charged at £95.

Why are check-ups more expensive for a new patient?

Check-ups are more expensive for new patients because they take longer and require more administrative work as we take a complete medical history and get to know you and your teeth better. Plus, we do a six-point check of your oral health and assess and diagnose any potential or current problems with your gums or bite. These more extended and extensive check-ups take more of the dentist’s time to conduct a thorough check.

Do you have a waiting list?

As a private dentist, our appointment times are not limited or managed in the same way as NHS practices. We have the space and dentists available to see you as soon as possible, often within the same week and sometimes the same day as your call. There’s no waiting list for our services, and we are readily available to help with your dental problem and to manage your oral health whenever you need us.

Can I speak to someone before booking a treatment?

What your confirmation will include:

Appointment confirmations are sent via text and email.

  • Details of the appointment booked
  • The dentist who will take your appointment
  • The date and time of your appointment
  • Approximation of cost
  • A breakdown of what your first appointment includes

Following the email, you will receive a text message which includes a link to our Patient Portal. Please click on this link, create a password, login and complete the consent forms and update your medical history at least one day before your appointment.

Securing your appointment

A booking deposit of £95 will be required to secure your appointment. This will ensure that we can fill the space and prevent no-shows or cancellations on the day.

The deposit will be deducted from your treatment fee and can be paid with all credit and debit cards, including American Express.
