Although the best treatment is orthodontics (braces), this may not suit all patients. Alternatively, a comparable outcome can be achieved with appropriate reshaping and veneering (adding to tooth surfaces). This procedure results in a corrected and vastly improved appearance compared to expensive and time-consuming orthodontics, which can take up to two years to correct.

Description
The appearance of worn down teeth is often characterised as flat, uneven and shortened over the years of night-time tooth grinding.

Porcelain veneers can be bonded to the existing enamel surfaces of all teeth visible in the smile zone, restoring the size and shape of the teeth.
